- How is Windows Vista going to change this list of "standard softwares" installed? Which are need and which are not?
- What will the County-Support CD look like with two vastly different OS out there?
- What is the future of 4H Plus and do we have alternatives?
- Responding to an absence of communication from the state 4H folks regarding updates and issues in 4H+ (are they on their own?)
Collaborative development of new Agent education modules
(kind of an ExTension for our folks ie- How many different lessons on creating GW groups do we really need?)
- What topics should we address?
- Which formats are most effective for Agents and practical for us? (web page, pdf, streaming video, ppt, others)
- Specific lessons within each topic?
- What do we already have available? -- let's do an inventory and find out
- Eclectic - open source - free form posting or centralized coordination?
CEA-Forum, RPD-Forum, BLT-Forum...you get the drift
- What if - CEA's across the state had a way to share ideas and experiences with each other?
- What if there was a forum where older Agents could offer wisdom and advice to younger Agents?
- What if Agents could post questions and comments to a body of knowledge and expect to find answers and ideas based on common experiences?
- What if a majority of CEA's across the state collaborated on authoring an on-line book about building successful county Extension programs and careers as a CEA?
- What if it was all indexed and searchable via the web?
Think it would sell? Would it sell on a regional basis? Southern US region? Northern and Western US regions?
I'd like to share some ideas and demonstrate the tools for helping this happen.
